Kia Kaha

Kia Kaha with Constable Brad and Constable Jess

Today we welcomed Constable Brad and Constable Jess to introduce the Kia Kaha programme.  We had some key questions that we discussed.
What makes us the same?

What makes us different?

Using the photo, children identified things we could see that make us the same and different.

Shields~ I Am Unique Because and Our Class is Special Because...

Shared ideas as unique individuals, origami, learning languages, cultures, own room, being good, different from others, different talents,  go to Mindplus, like arts and crafts, can speak different languages,

Class-Oldest in the school, artistic, play nicely together, people are born in different cultures, we are all different, we are tidier than other classes, we show empathy, we are role models,

When we bring all of our differences and uniqueness together, we create a special place.
