Kapa Haka Visit to Woodcote Retirement Home

Celebrating With Our Community

One of the highlights of our week was spending time out in the community.  We celebrated Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori with residents from Woodcote Retirement Village.  Check out the waiata we sung together.

  1. Kia ora Rimu class,
My name is Emma and I am a year 7 student in Te Ngahere at Paihia School. I really like your post about your Kapa Haka visit to Woodcote Retirement Home. It looks like the people in the retirement home enjoyed your waiata that you sang them. Were you nervous about performing in front of them?

    Thanks for posting,
    Emma
